Roots of nature building is run by Stephen and Caroline Grindrod. Stephen has 30 years in the building trade and has earned a name for quality and trustworthiness with his company Stephen Grindrod LTD. Caroline is a Holistic manager with an interest in conservation, farming and health and runs roots of nature consulting.
With a growing awareness of mankind's impact on the environment and a fear of the healthfulness of the materials used in the modern building trade Stephen started to look for a different way of approaching his work. Caroline and Stephen now use holistic management to guide the work of roots of nature and created the company to be in balance in three ways; environmentally, socially and economically.

Roots of Nature Building is based near Loughrigg in the English Lake District and operates in Cumbria and occasionally Scotland.
